ZYDECO
 |
Blame it on the Big Easy, and on an eclectic mix of cultures that have had time to simmer together in the hot Louisiana sun. If you've been to New Orleans you'll understand...if not,
I'd highly recommend the annual Jazz and Heritage Fest. You'll hear Zydeco, Blues, Soul, Boogie Woogie, Gospel and Cajun music. I can think of no better time to be had, anywhere.
One guarantee? You'll MOOOOVE yo feet! Why, ask Paul Simon...he sang about ol' Clifton Chenier (Zydeco King) on his Graceland record. Check out the official Jazzfest site.
