Miracle vine

KUDZU

They say it grows so fast you can sit and watch it move. Much more rewarding than say, watching grass.

Thanks to someone who brought this plant over from Japan for erosion control, it's now a dominant part of the Southern landscape. Driving by miles of land completely enshrouded by kudzu is a bizarre experience. My friend Mark likes kudzu 'cause he thinks it smells good when it flowers, “like grape.”
